Who We Are
We’re Stefan & Olivia, a South African–Korean couple living in Seoul.
This blog began with our own story. We met in Korea, fell in love, and eventually began planning our marriage here. Along the way, there were so many wonderful moments — but also plenty of things we didn’t know how to navigate, from cultural differences and family traditions to the practical and administrative side of getting married in Korea.
Why We Started
We started this space to share what we’ve learned along the way — the things we wish we had known, the questions we had, and the little moments that made our journey special.
We especially hope this blog can be a helpful resource for South African–Korean couples, but our goal is bigger than that. Whether you’re an international couple planning a wedding in Korea, a Korean marrying a foreign partner, or simply curious about building a life across cultures, we hope you’ll find something useful here.
